Parents and teachers have an important role in providing knowledge and learning experiences for children. The participants in this study consisted of 23 individuals, including 20 parents of students and 3 teachers at a kindergarten in Malang City. According to the teachers, the main problems observed among the children concerned their behavior and the language they used both at home and at school. At home, the children were not adequately taught to demonstrate polite attitudes and use appropriate language, which consequently affected their behavior at school. The purpose of this intervention was to increase parents’ and teachers’ knowledge regarding children’s problems and appropriate strategies for addressing them in a positive manner. The psychoeducational intervention was preventive in nature and was conducted in six sessions. The intervention consisted of material presentation, role-play, reflection, and question-and-answer activities. A knowledge scale was administered as a pre-test and post-test to measure the knowledge of parents and teachers before and after the psychoeducational intervention. The results showed a statistically significant difference, with a significance value of 0.000, indicating a significant improvement in knowledge following the intervention.
