Abstract

This study examines the implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in shaping students’ social behavior at SMPN 1 Woha in the digital era. The main academic issue lies in how PAI can adapt to rapid technological advancements while preserving Islamic values amid digital interactions. This research distinguishes itself by focusing on local challenges and the integration of technology into religious education, an area often underexplored in previous studies. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that the integration of digital tools can enhance PAI learning but requires a balance between religious teachings and the ethics of digital use. This study contributes to understanding how to combine traditional values with digital learning in modern educational settings. Future research could broaden the scope to various schools and explore the long-term impact of digital learning on student behavior, as well as examine more deeply the influence of technology use on students’ social behavior in the long run, along with concrete strategies that schools can implement to improve the effectiveness of PAI learning in the digital era.
