PEMANFAATAN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) PADA PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DAN BUDI PEKERTI

This research aims to describe the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in class X SMA Sunan Drajat Sugio. The method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with the Kemmis and McTaggart spiral model. The research results show that the use of AI in learning can improve understanding of material, student involvement in the learning process, critical thinking skills, and students' practical skills in applying Islamic values. The use of AI also speeds up learning evaluation and enables personalization of material according to student needs. However, the challenges faced include dependence on technology, the potential for plagiarism, low teacher digital literacy, limited facilities and infrastructure, as well as ethical and theological problems. With proper management, AI can become an innovative tool that enriches the PAI learning process without ignoring spiritual and moral values. This research recommends the wise use of AI to support the goals of Islamic education in the digital era.
